This is the Spanish colony Colombia gold 8 Escudos, 0.875 Gold/ 87.5% gold with 0.7614 troy ounce Actual Gold Weight, under the Spanish King Charles IV, Nuevo Reino - Bogota Mint. 27.03g, 38mm. Reference: Friedberg 51, CCT 122, XC 1147, KM-62.1.

Obverse: Armoured and draped profile bust of Charles IV right, wearing order of the Golden fleece.
Latin Legend: CAROL . IIII . D . G . HISP . ET IND . R . / . 1807 .
Translation: "Charles IV by the Grace of God, King of the Spains and Indies 1807"

Reverse: Crowed shield, splitting denomination (8-S), all withing order of the Golden fleece collar.
Legend: . AUSPICE . DEO . (N.R. .J.J) . IN . UTROQ . FELIX .
Translation: "Under God's Auspices Happy in Both (Worlds)"

In my opinion it's nice Bold Strike About EF (usually Soft Strike on the bust and reverse side), which is also similar as the seller's opinion; in US routine grade it should AU-50 to AU-53 depends the mood of the grader (just kidding but it might be true, who knows?).
