Republic of Chile, Pattern for Gold 8 Escudos, struck in copper, 1836 I.J. Obverse: arms of Chile. Reverse: Liberty as Pallas Athena standing at altar. KM# Pn.6 var. About very fine. Rare.

Someone might spent it as copper coin due to its condition we can see that... however, what's the denomination for this coin under that 'circulation' situation? Or, might be as a gold coin when it was uncirculated with red luster? It's interesting to know...
